First I must confess that I'm naive in auto world though I owe a Mehran since last 4 years but was near really interested in car maintenance things. But lately I bought myself a Honda City 2003 automatic and CNG is not installed.

Many in my circle suggested me not to go for CNG because it has issues with automatic cars.

Can you please suggest me
1- Should I go for CNG or not( though I want it, the reason being is simply affordability)?
2- What are good CNG fitting workshops in Islamabad?
3- Some tips to keep my CNG kit/engine in good shape for long.

Thank you .

i have also baught CITY VARIO 2007 (oct) almost a week ago (on patrol). The drive and PICK is amazing on PATROL alhumduLILLAH. Really worried that i will LOOSE them both if i convert it to CNG

Most are also saying your transmission will expire soon if you convert to CNG...!!! (VARIO OWNER's PLZ SUGGEST....)

However i am in phase of testing the PATROL Consumption and it seems to be very GOOD as the CAR is especially designed to give good mileage on PATROL...

i have a city vario 2003-4 model with installed cng and in my use for 2years.
It do create problem with automatic gear on CNG especially when A/c on, the petrol consumption of city is execellent. i have used for 25000 km on cng but the intencity of ware n tear is 10% annualy.
It depends if you have the ability to manage these small problems . i am managing it and satisfied as my daily use of vehicle is 50km which is affordable only on CNG.
A tank full of CNG covers 160km in local and 225 km on long costing Rs.625/- where as 14km per liter on petrol ( the liter supplied although is not full liter these days)
