can anyone guide me as to how much the gtti engine is going to cost...and can anyone also tell me if the gtti engine is a petrol or diesel.oh yeah and how good is the charade turbo diesel engine for a car almost the size of charade but a longer hood and more lower also...something like a mini jaguar..my car's an austin healey, not many ppl know about it but anyways, help would be appreciated..oh and how much are the engines for, petrol and diesel.

Your car is RWD so why dont you go for a Toyota Corolla 1.6Gli's engine mated to a Corolla 82 RWD Gearbox.
The whole conversion would cost you about 60 to 70K.

By the way whats the story with the original engine ?

I think is looking for a diesel engine that performs the same way as a petrol.
