Under Powered Prado 2.7 VVTI..Suggestions???

Hi Gari.pk


My father has a 03 Prado 2.7 VVTi, which feels very very underpowered. I dont know how toyota have miscalculated the weight and powerwed it with a 2.7L engine. It feels really heavy while driving uphill and rather decelerates on Motorway when climbing the Kallar Kahar Range.


I was wondering if any performance parts or fine tunning can help. I know nothing about performance parts, so i need your help with:


A) are there any performance parts such as air intakes, performance plugs etc that can help


B) is replacing performance parts going to effect fuel consumption.


I will appriciate your opinions and suggestons

Yeah first check its OE maintenance like fuel pump is giving full pressure,Lubes changed,All sensors etc working,Fuel ilter changed,throttle cleaned


Other than this you can go for after market Iridium,Platinuim Multi tips Spark Plugs and Air Intakes will make some diferernce.rest you can go for better fueling graphs wth SAFC or Maybe piggyback
