i am facing a problem in my 2005 vti prosmatic. when i push the throttle it gives nearly half second delay before it picks up..i have not driven any other vti prosmatic so i dont know the same thing exists in other cars as well or not.i will appreciate if any one shares his experience ..

it's possible the it is selecting the correct gear if you are in "D".

try putting it in "2" at aound 60km/h and see what happens.

if you still have response issues it woudl mean that you either have an issue with the spark (plugs or plug wire extensions), fuel (fuel filter or pump) or air (filter).

clean the throttle body,clean or replace spark plugs and adjust the Race wire at the intake manifold InshaAllah u will notice the difference
