Profitss in Pakistan This Year

Massive changes have been made in the auto industry of Pakistan and the international brands are lining up to make the investment of billions to bear the rising demand of the vehicles in Pakistan. The companies will enjoy the tax incentives through the Auto Policy 2016-2021 and it has made Pakistan into the productive car market for the international brands. There were 230,000 cars were sold in Pakistani market during 2016 and the numbers of the vehicles will be continued rising each year and the positive trend of 10 to 15 percent growth will be done annually. There are over 150,000 cars and jeeps, which have been sold in the Pakistani market since mid 2016when we count the buses, trucks and tractors, then the number of the vehicles will cross to 200,000. There are some locally assembled cars, Honda , Suzuki and Toyota, which are leading.
1. Toyota Corolla
Toyota Corolla in the most demanding and well known model, which is most popular among the people in Pakistan. There have been 40694 cars of this brand, which have been sold during past nine months. Toyota has also produced about 40,774 units in the same period. The current models of Corolla are providing in the market Xli, GLi, Altis and Altis Grande. These models of the vehicle have different features and the prices of these variants may be different by up to 8 lacs. The basic model of Toyota Corolla start at the price of PKR 1,659,000 and it goes up all the way to PKR 2,389,000 for the premium model.

2. Suzuki Mehran
Suzuki Mehran is still popular among the people due to different reasons. This car model has retained its annual sales and it is exhibited in the market as the second most popular car. There are total 28,036 units, which are sold in the market while the company has produced total 29,966 units in the same period.
The design of this car is three decades old and it is exhibited in the market with the same look and it is featured set as the original, which was introduced in 1989. The prices of the vehicle, Suzuki Mehran are given as under:
Mehran VX = PKR 679,000
Mehran VXR = PKR 732,000
Mehran VX CNG = PKR 749,000
Mehran VXR CNG = PKR 802,000
3. and 4. Honda City & Civic
Honda launched two unique variants of Honda Civic and City. Civic has new sports looks and the sale of this model is increased and most of the people like Honda City . These cars are at the third spot in locally produced cars. During past three quarters, total number of sold Civic and City car is 28,120. Honda manufactured only 27,572 cars, which is less than the demanding vehicle and it failed to meet the demands of the clients. Honda Civic has the price of about Rs. 3 million and now Honda City has the price of Rs. 1.5 million.

5. Suzuki Bolan
Suzuki Bolan is also known as ‘Carry dabba’ and this vehicle is sold in the market in large numbers. There is lot of competition from Japanese imported vehicle, which are belonged to the same category and the sales of this vehicle are backed by the scheme of the government, Rozgar Taxi scheme. When the taxi scheme was ended then the sale of Suzuki Bolan is depleted in the recent times. The maker recorded the sale of the vehicle to 14,938 units in last nine months and the car maker has produced about 15,424 units when the sale of the vehicle is ped about 60%. The vehicle is also unchanged during last few decades and it is provided in the market with same design and specifications.

6. Suzuki Ravi
Suzuki Ravi is the most sold pickup, which is also popular in Pakistan. This vehicle has low price and the basic features of this vehicle make it best choice for the small scale dealers and distributors. The makers saw the sale of this vehicle of 13,988 units and the company has estimated the demand of the vehicle as produced 14,212 units. There is rapid decline in sale of this vehicle, which is about 765%. The vehicle is provided in the market with same built and it is also known for its issues and benefits.
7. Suzuki Wagon R
Suzuki has provided another vehicle in the market and this vehicle is relatively new Wagon R , which is the new car and there is growing demand of this vehicle in past couple of years after launching strong media campaign for this car.
There is considerable increase in sale of the vehicle, Wagon R and total 12,595 units we4re sold in the market. Suzuki Company was ready for higher demand and it has produced 12,844 units during the same time period. The vehicle Wagon R was sold in 6857 units last year. The vehicle, Suzuki wagon R was provided in the market in better and spacious interior and made this vehicle a popular family car. This car is facing tough competition from imported Kei cars, when they are offered for fewer prices.
8. Suzuki Cultus
Suzuki Cultus has launched the fifty car in the market, which is the popular car in Pakistan. This car was launched in the auto market in 2000 and this car got userbase but it is offered with same features for over 15 years. The company stopped taking orders for the Cultus vehicle in February and it is planned on the introduction of the new model. Cultus has provided 11905 units in the makers and the company has produced total 13,336 units. The new cultus is built and it is internationally known as Celerio.
9. Toyota Hilux
Toyota has provided this second most sold pickup, which is the high end Hilux. There have been major improvements made in this vehicle during last few years and it is considered the luxurious vehicle and is the alternative of Corolla. The company has sold total 4239 units and the company has demanded and produced total 4425 units.
The vehicle, Toyota Hulix is categorized among pickups and it has some premium features and the cheaper price point, which is compared to off road SUVs. The Toyota Company offers the high end Hilux Revo variant in Pakistan.
10. Suzuki Swift
About all Suzuki cars are the part of the bestselling cars including Suzuki Swift and the company has affirmed the place as the big shareholder in the automobile market of Pakistan. Suzuki Swift got the attention of the viewers in Pakistan and this car was sold in the market in 3281 units in past nine months while the company has produced 3401 units.
Suzuki Swift is the comfortable and compact hatchback and it was supposed to the flagship vehicle of the company. This is superior and expensive car and it is alternative to Cultus and Mehran. This car is not provided according to its demand and the company has to sell the other models of the brand like Mehran and Cultus.
