A Young Man Develops Al Electric Tractor In Layyah

According to a recent media report, a young man named Khalid from Layyah, Punjab, developed a mini electric tractor from commonly available components.

It is intended to reduce air pollution caused by toxic emissions from tractors with conventional internal combustion engines.

According to Khalid, the total cost on the development of this electric tractor is 40,000PKR. He also said that his tractor engine runs on rechargeable batteries and can easily lift 80 kg.

Khalid added that if the government decides to invest in significantly reducing pollution and revolutionizing the agricultural sector, bigger and better machines of the same type could be built.

The government is currently working on the standardization of electric vehicles EVs by implementing a new EV policy that provides numerous incentives to EV manufacturers, buyers and those interested in strengthening local EV charging infrastructure. The electric tractor developed by Khalid is also a part of this initiative that will play a part in the economical development of the country.
