The auto policy 2016-21 is providing the good autos to the automobile industry in Pakistan and various new automakers started the manufacturing plants in the country. There are some of the automakers, who have completed their plants and they have started the manufacturing the cars . The companies have either completed their plants o r they are in the process to building one.
Hyundai Nishat

Hyundai Nishat has started the construction of the assembly plant, which will manufacture passenger cars in M3 industrial city, Faisalabad. The timeline for the construction of this project is two years. The plant has been made to get the annual production of 30,000 units per annum. The ground breaking plant ceremony was conducted in December 2017.
United Motors

United Motors completed the manufacturing plant in Lahore and the company is setting to launch the 800cc car, which is named as Bravo and 1000cc pickup truck later this year.
Renault

Renault is the French automaker and it is setting up the manufacturing plant in Faisalabad. The company will start the building of the plant in this city. It is assumed that this company will not be able to start the manufacturing of the vehicle in the country till 2019.
The company will get the 54 acres land in the city and it will start the manufacturing plant by doing the investment of US$140 million. Renault was first going to build its plant in Karachi but due to some reasons, the company has decided to build the plant in Faisalabad.
Kia Motors

Kia Motors is the Korean car manufacturing company, which is also building the manufacturing plant in Karachi. It is said that it is near to completion and the company has made the huge investment of $115 for assembling of automobile plant in Karachi, Pakistan.
Master Motors
Master Motors is gearing up to introduce the Changan vehicle in the country and the ground breaking ceremony of the assembling plant was conducted at Bin Qasim, Karachi on 21st March 2018. The Changan Automobile is well known for the manufacturing of the high end SUVs and Sedans in China.
Daimler AG
The National Logistic Cell NLC has signed the Memorandum of Understanding MoU with Daimler AG to manufacture the assembly plant, which will assemble the Mercedes Benz trucks in Pakistan. NLC has stated that this change will bring the revolutions in the logistic industry of Pakistan.
Sazgar Engineering Works
Sazgar will set up the car assembly plant in the country by June 2019, which will be conducted under the Greenfield project. The company said that PKR 1.76 billion will be spent on the new assembly plant. The company has sent the notice to Pakistan Stock Exchange and the project will have the capacity to produce about 24,000 units annually.
Regal Motors

Regal Automobile Industries Limited has established the vehicle assembly and manufacturing units in Lahore industrial area. The company will take the next step to start the LCV / VANS manufacturing in Pakistan by April 2018.
