New brake caliper holds spotlight fir single biggest 3D printed car component, which was made from titanium around the world. Bugatti uses the similar aerospace grade material, which is used for the aircraft parts.

The 3D printer is added with four 400 watt lasers and Bugatti used it to print the caliper and it took printer to 45 hours to print one piece of caliper. It is exposed to 700 degree Celsius in this process and also eliminates the residual stress to ensure the dimensional stability of component.
