Car Sale Enhances to 20931 Units in 8 Months

Islamabad, during the first 8 months of the new financial year, the manufacturing of different models of the cars and their sale has been increased in comparison to the previous year all over the country. According to the All Pakistan Auto Manufacturers Association data, during the current financial year, total 145,854 cars have been manufactured during the financial year from July to February this year and total 142,383 cars have been sold.



During last financial year, about 124,923 cars were produced and the sale of the cars was recorded as 121275 units. In comparison to the previous financial year, about 20931 more cars were produced and 21108 more cars were sold during first 8 months of the current financial year. Only in February, total 17633 cars were produced and 19027 cars were sold.
Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association said that total 62415 cars were produced in 1300 cc and above categories and 62699 cars were sold during this time. The sold out cars were included with Honda Civic and City, Suzuki Swift and Toyota Corolla models. During first 8 months of the financial year, total 34113 cars were produced and 32633 cars were sold. During the same period of the previous year, total 23757 cars were produced in the same category and 21033 cars were sold.
