Chinese Automaker Joylong Enters Pakistan

Under the provision of new auto policy 2016-21, various new automakers are entering in Pakistan and they are gearing up to release the new vehicles in the auto market. Now the Chinese automaker, Joylong Automobile Company Limited is going to enter in the Pakistani auto market and launch some of the new vehicles.

The subsidiary of this company in Pakistan, will import the vehicles from China and it will offer four variants of the passenger vans and coasters. The influx of Chinese automaker in Pakistan is increasing because of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor CPEC. Aside from Joylong, many companies like Daimler AG have signed the Memorandum of Understanding MoU with National Logistics Cell NLC to assemble Mercedes Benz trucks in Pakistan. The company is going to work on the pickup / truck segments of the market due to CPEC.



The chairman of Joylong Pakistan talked to media and said that they would offer the vehicles in Pakistan with some added features as the present commercial vehicles are being sold in the local market in half of the price compared to them. The company will bring about 150 units annually and after growth of their market, they will start their local production. The company has not revealed the launched date of the vehicles in Pakistan.
