First Solar Car In World Lightyear One Is Fastest Solar Car

Auto companies around the world are manufacturing the Electric Vehicles EVs with new and innovative technologies. The trend of EVs is setting up since 2000s when the EV giant Tesla started manufacturing its series of EVs which are fully electric cars. The EVs are going to revolutionize the automotive sector by replacing the traditional fuel vehicles. 

In Pakistan, the people are also showing their keen interest in the electric cars. In 2019, the federal cabinet formulated and approved the Electric Vehicles EV Policy 2020-25. According to this policy, the import of EVs will be allowed to the companies in a vision to keep the environment clean. Currently, several EV companies and government are setting up Electric Vehicles EV charging stations for the EV owners in Pakistan. 


Lightyear One

The demand of electricity has increased very much due to an increase in the use of electric vehicles in Pakistan. Due to this the inflation in the petroleum market globally and lack of natural resources lack of electricity can be a big issue for EVs to run on the roads. So, to come up with this problem, the lightyare, a Netherland base company has introduced Lightyear One, a first solar car which has a long range to go. 

According to Lightyear, the world’s first solar car can go up to 725km on its solar charge only. It means, the car can be charged even while driving or parking the car in sun. Lightyear One is a solution to the EVs which face a lack of electricity to charge and drive. There is no need to search for an EV charging station or a petrol pump, this Solar Car has resolved all these issues and you can travel without any difficulty. 

For weather conditions, the solar car is offered with plug-in charging support. On Solar charging, it will charge up to 12km every hour which is a very good aspect. 

The car has tiny solar panels in the outer body fixed with roof and bonnet with more than 1,000 solar cells powered in it.
