Govt Seals Large Number Of Illegal Petrol Pumps

The action against the illegal petrol pumps around the country is on the way and till now government has sealed a large number of illegal petrol pumps involved in illegal sale of imported and smuggled petroleum products. The crackdown was started on the directives of the Prime Minister, Imran Khan.

According to official statistics of the government, right after the start of crackdown in January 2021, the government has sealed 11, 1, 556 petrol pumps and has seized 3 million liters of petrol and 10.6 million litres of diesel. According to latest updates government has recently sealed 28 stations including 15 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10 in Sindh and three in Punjab.
