Haval SUV Maker To Launch Tank 100 To Rival Suzuki Jimney

Great Wall Motors GWM, the Chinese auto giant has now decided to rival the Suzuki with a launch of direct competitor of Suzuki Jimney, the Haval Tank 100. The automaker has already launched 2 SUVs under the Haval brand, the Haval 6 and Haval Jolion in Pakistan.

The company has been manufacturing the off-roaders for Chinese military and is a well experienced manufacturer. The Haval tank 100 is the smallest SUV in its lineup which will be an exciting addition by the brand.

The Haval Tank 100 will rival the Suzuki Jimney and its current generation of Suzuki Jimney in Pakistan was launched in 2018. The Jimney is still selling like hot cakes in the global market. So, the Chinese alternative in the form of Haval tank 100 will now play in the market In competition with Suzuki Jimeny.

The Tank 100 is reportedly being installed with a full 4-wheel drive system with a locking differential for real off-roading. Like Tank 300, the Tank 100 will also come with 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that generates around 224 hp and 387 pound-feet of torque which is high as compared to Suzuki Jimney which has 1.5-liter normally aspirated engine that produces 100 hp and 130 lb-ft of torque.The tank 100 is expected to have both manual and automated gearboxes.
