Honda Teases 2023 HR-V Crossover

The globally renowned auto giant has released a teaser officially for its new subcompact crossover 2023 HR-V which is also known as Vezel in Japan. The mini SUV is expected to hit the US market later this year. The company has released the latest visuals of the HR-V that indicate that the Vezel will be a redesigned SUV.

The current generation is in the market since 2014 and now the company is set to bring the updated generation of HR-V to upgrade the current version. The leaked images indicate that the design of the car will not resemble with the body design of HR-V hybrid that arrived in Europe last year which suggest that the US market will get the bulky variant.

The Honda HR-V will be installed with similar powertrain to current Honda Civic which comes with both the 158 hp naturally aspirated 2.0-liter and the Turbo 1.5-liter inline-four engine with 180 hp options.

The car lineup will have hybrid, with either front or all-wheel-drive options, besides a CVT automatic transmission. The engine may be upgraded over the previous variant of HR-V which was 1.8-liter inline-four engine which only produces 141 hp.

The Honda has not revealed the technical specifications of the pictures of the new HR-Vin the teaser. The interior is also not revealed yet. The HR-V latest generation of HR-V will debut in 2022 in the US market.
