Increase in Car Premium in June

The local auto manufacturers in Pakistan has offered the current premium on the vehicles and we can check it by the sales figures of May 2017. The sales of the car have inched closer to new high of 19,000 units for May 2017. Total OEM sales is increased by +25% to 183,142 units during May 2017, when you compare the same time period from previous year. The viewers can watch the performance chart prepared by Pak-Suzuki Motor Company, Indus Motor Company and Honda Atlas. The IGI securities reported that Pak Suzuki registered the sale of 11,131 units and sale of Indus Motors is registered as 4929 units and Honda Atlas has sales of 4660 units in May 2017.
Some of the industry analysts show that car sales for 2016-2017 are expected to register of 270,000 units with the import of 60,000 cars. The penetration of car stands at as low as 13 vehicles per 1000 persons and the increasing per capita income Pakistan provides huge potential for growth to the global car makers. With the start of CPEC and some other development projects, Pakistani industry has catalyst, which is enabled to increase the sales figures and compete among other factors.
