Kia Sportage 5th Generation Revealed Officially

The Kia has finally revealed its highly anticipated crossover SUV, 5th Generation Kia Sportage with modern and latest design and logo. It is going to be a 2023 version of Sportage. The Kia Sportage will compete the already available SUVs in market like MG HS, MG ZS, DFSK Glory 580 and Hyundai Tucson. The automaker has not yet revealed the detailed internals and externals but released a teaser defining the design philosophy of the SUV.





Exterior

The Kia Sportage 5th Generation has a bold design as compared to previously launched variants. The SUV is the smoother than before and has rounded-off silhouette, and the latter sporting a sharper and edgier design. The SUV has a unique front end and featured with a big front grille with a tiger nose design. The Kia Sportage has low mounted diamond shaped headlights and sharp-looking boomerang-esque LED Daytime Running Lights. The side view of the car looks elongated due to rearward sloping roof design.





Meanwhile, the SUV is provided with alloy wheels with new design, the beltline close to the D-Pillar giving aggressive look to the SUV. The back is provided with well designed taillights and a downward sloping taillight adds more to design and aesthetics.



Interior

The Kia Sportage is premium SUV as compared to previous 4th generation edition in terms of interior. The dashboard has an air-vent layout, a modern-looking shift dial along with several other buttons in the center control stack, and a huge, single-piece screen that spans across half the length of the dashboard, integrating both, the infotainment system and the gauge cluster.







Performance

The Kia sportage is expected to have 2L inline 4 MPI with 154HP, 2.5L inline 4 with 187HP, 1.6L Turbo with 177HP while a more potent 2L o r a 2.5L Turbo with 250HP +/- as for the powertrains. The SUV may come in Hybrid and plugin Hybrid variants. So no final words are yet to say for internals and detailed specifications and features.

Availability

The auto giant has still to disclose all details about SUV, so the availability of the car is not confirmed and it is expected that it will be launched in home country South Korea by the fall of 2021 and might be launched in North America by the end of 2021.

Kia Sportage 5th Generation In Pakistan

The Kia Sportage 5th generation’s official debut will not be made before 2023. In Pakistan it will require major upgrades in assembly line in Pakistan.
