Lexus & Mirai Mode Introduced With Driver Assist Technol
The Toyota Motors Corporation has brought two new variants of the Lexus and Mirai in Japan. The both variants are supported with the driver assist technology.
Reuters has reported that the new technology of the Japanese Auto giant comes with an autonomous system at level 2. The system helps the drivers while driving like car limiting in its lane, changing lane and maintaining the distance between other vehicles under the control of driver.
The Toyota Research Unit head, Woven Planet, James Kuffner stated:
'This is really an important first step on our journey towards software-first development'
He further said:
'Where software features on cars will be upgradable and more customizable, much like how people personalize their smartphones'.
