New Suzuki Swift 2017 Specifications

Suzuki has launched the new vehicle, Suzuki Swift 2017 at Geneva Motor Show and the production of the new model of the vehicle is being carried out at the Japanese plant of the company. The clients of Suzuki Swift are waiting for the preparing of new models, which will show here in this country.
Suzuki updated the design of third generation of Swift 2017 and the vehicle has innovative new technology to dub the Suzuki as HEARTECT to make the car lightweight and rigid. The company has included the SVHS mild hybrid drive and better safety system in the latest model. Suzuki is aiming to get the attraction of the younger generation with updated Swift 2017 model and the clients will have to look at the comprehensive features of the vehicle.
Exterior
On the exterior side of the vehicle, there are subtle hints to remind you of the older Suzuki Baleno and Swift has taken huge step in its styling. It is also added with new design language. The vehicle, Swift 2017 maintains the basic shape and size of the older model but it will be added with modern details and sportier stance. This vehicles has prominent feature as it is added with new headlamp design. The lights of this model are smaller and angular in shape like Baleno.

This vehicle is added with grille and it is featured with hexagonal shape, which is wider than the older models. Suzuki has changed the design of hood to extend across the nose to grille and it finished few inches above the old hoods. The preliminary photos of the new model of Swift to show the design elements, which is varied in terms of colors and the red and blue models have vertical slats. The later model has the upper honey comb mesh section and has the red stripe.
On the back of the car, Suzuki has maintained the ditch curved design to make angular shape similar to Baleno and Swift is added with LED layout, around stop and C-Shaped and reverse and turn signal lights. The bumper of the vehicle is redesigned to give sportier look to improve the overall feel of the car.
When the clients view the Swift car from sides, there are some noticeable changes in it though overall shape and proportion of the vehicle are similar and this vehicle has low roofline and padded belt-line over the wheel arches. The Global automotive operations of Suzuki Motor Corporation told the reporters in Geneva and said that they gained complete new light weight body, which has total weight of 840 kg and it is lighter than 120 kg from its current model.
Interior
The company did not show the interior of the vehicle and the pictures of the vehicle revealed to public and give the good glimpse of what they expect in this vehicle, Swift 2017. The dashboard of the vehicle is redesigned apart from V-shaped layout.
It has the air condition vents to complete the dashboard and keep everything aside, the prominent change is the addition of 7 inch touch screen panel to replace the radio unit and knobs. It has the modern graphics and button to be embedded in HVAC area and reside above the console center. The company has to update the apps and features of 7 inch touch screen but it will not disappoint them.
The instrument centers have been improved to large extent and the rev counter and speedometer have the separate covers and has digital display in the middle. The steering wheel looks very impressive with chrome detailing and it is added with controls on both sides and it has firm and sporty grip.

The vehicle has some additional features of Safety Package, high beam assistance, collision mitigation system with laser sensor with the adaptive cruise control are optional. When you speak about the seats of new Swift, optimized, redesigned and offer the additional comfort for their shape.
It is also added with more leg room and it will be speculated and it is expected that luggage room will enhance design of the car. There is no specification about the new model, which Suzuki is going to release.
Engine
The vehicle has the outgoing model of vehicle, Swift, which is released with two gasoline engines and it would not change in the new generation. The vehicle has the petrol only engine line up to include 110 bhp BoosterJet 1.0 liter 3 cyl turbo and 89 bhp 1.2 liter four. It is added with mild hybrid system with 1.0 liter engine with lower emission to 97 g/km. the clients will also find new 5 speed manual plus CVT with 6-speed AT. The company is providing the mild Hybrid SHVS system, which is based on same powerplant, which will be offered.

The company did not announce the official announcement and the company will look to use 1.6 liter 4-cylinder and it would not come as the big surprise. When you speak about transmission, the standard five speed for 1.2 liter and it is optional CVT and new six speed automatic for 1.0 liter turbo.
Price and Availability
The company did not announce the official price of the vehicle, which should stay close to current price of £8,999 of the car. The vehicle, new swift will provide for sale in June 2017 but it is not said that this vehicle will be launched in Pakistan. The clients will expect Pak Suzuki Motors to bring it for the clients in coming time.
