Online E-Challan And Token Tax Payment Method

The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has made easy to pay Token tax and e-challan by moving it to online. The bike, Car and vehicle owners can now save time and energy to pay their e-challan and token tax physically. 

Here are the easy steps to by e-challan and token tax online via your mobile device:


Steps to Pay E- Challan 

Download the ePay Punjab App from the app store on your mobile phone.
Tap on Punjab Police tab
Then tap on E-Challan Safe City tab
Enter your car/bike registration number
Now press the Pay tab, it will generate a PSID number
Copy that PSID number
Log in to you bank app, go to payments and select GoPb option in bill payment options
Enter PSID number and press OK
App will show details about e-challan(s) against your car
Enter amount and press confirm/pay
Message of successful transaction will appear on the screen
After few minutes, you can visit the ePay App again to check the status about your challan.

Steps to Pay Token Tax
The process of paying the Token Tax is almost same except few initial steps, which are:
Download ePay app on your mobile phone
Go to Token Tax section
Get your PSID number
Follow the process of paying e-challan
