PAMA Releases Car Sales Report For August 2021

The Pakistan Automotive Manufactures Association PAMA has released the monthly car sales report for the month of August 2021.

According to PAMA Car Sales Report, on Month on Month MOM statistics the car sales in Pakistan recorded a decline of 13% and saw an increase of 87% in Year on Year YOY. The overall MOM car sales were 21,751 units in August 2021.

Hyundai Nishat and Honda Atlas have recorded an increase in the car sales, while the car sales of Pak Suzuki and Toyota Indus decreased.

August 2021 Company Wise Car Sales

Pak Suzuki Motors:

The car sales of Pak Suzuki Motors decreased in the month of August 2021. The company sold 12, 062 units where MOM decline is 21% and YOY growth is 101%.

Toyota Indus Motors:

The cars sales of Toyota Indus Motors also faced a decline in its car sales in August 2021. The company managed to sell 5, 639 Toyota cars where the recorded MOM decline is 16% and YOY increase in car sales is 71%.

Honda Atlas:

Honda Atlas recorded a growth in MOM sales by 40% while decline in YOY car sales by 43%.

Hyundai Nishat:

Hyundai Nishat Motors maintained its car sales growth and witnessed 712 units sales in August with an increase of 13%.

Car Wise Sales In August 2021

Pak Suzuki Motors was the best car selling company and Suzuki Alto was a leading car in terms of sales as the company sold 5, 031 units of Suzuki Alto in July. The company sold 2,845 units of Suzuki Cultus, 1,679 units of Suzuki Wagon R, 1,097 units of Suzuki Bolan, and 154 units of Suzuki Swift.

Toyota Indus Motors Company was second Toyota Yaris sales was recorded 2,025, after Yaris Company recorded most sales of Toyota Corolla by 1,942 units. The company further witnessed 1,100 sales of Hilux, and 572 sales of Fortuner.

Honda Atlas sold 2,726 units of Civic and City and 504 units of BR-V.

Hyundai Nishat sold 258 units of Elantra, 192 units of Tucson, and 142 units of Sonata.
