Peugeot 3008 Spotted In Karachi

The Lucky Motors Corporation Limited LMCL is expected to launch the Peugeot vehicles in Pakistan soon. The Peugeot will compete with the B, C, and D-segment SUVs. Peugeot 3008 will be on the Pakistani road soon. The company is also preparing to debut the B-segment SUV 2008 this year in Pakistan. 

The pictures surfacing on the social media where we can see two 3008 SUVs with Peugeot 2008 are parked in Karachi. So it hints that company is going to introduce both SUVs this year.


Peugeot 3008

The Peugeot 3008 is a compact crossover SUV under the brand and will compete with Hyundai Tucson, MG HS, Proton X70, Haval H6, and Kia Sportage.

The company has revealed on its official website that the Peugeot will be powered with a  1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 162 hp and 240 Nm of torque, and will send all of it to the front wheels or all four wheels (depending on the variant) via a 6-speed automatic transmission.


The 3008 SUV will have an i-Cockpit featured hill-start assist, lane-keeping assist, electronic stability programming (ESP), drowsiness detection, road sign, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot detection, and speed limit recognition and recommendation, a 180° degree camera, and overhead vehicle view besides several upmarket options.

The company has not yet revealed the pricing and the launch date of the SUV 3008, but according to speculations made in the market the car will be stay in the top end SUV category like Kia Sportage which hints that the price of Peugeot will be around 6.3 million rupees. 

The Peugeot SUV 3008 will create a hype in the SUV segment of Pakistan with its aggressiveness, impressive performance and hi tech features. 

Launch of Peugeot 2008
According to latest reports, the Lucky Motors is now gearing up to launch the Peugeot. The company has already assembled the first batch of Completely Knocked Down CKD 2008 units locally. It seems that the new Peaugeot 2008 will mark its official debut in the Pakistani auto market this month. As far as the price of Peugeot 2008 is concerned, it is speculated that the SUV will be priced around 4 million as it will stay as an upmarket vehicle.
