Proton Saga 2022 Will Come With New Updates

The Malaysian auto giant Proton is brining a facelift of its most popular car the Proton Saga in the sedan category.  Proton Saga is a best-selling car under the Malaysian auto brand. According to recent news, the Proton Saga 2022 was recently spotted publically. The car has a blacked-out front grille and badge, black front bumper lip, black side skirts, newly designed black alloy rims, and black side mirrors.

It is not yet confirmed that the black accent will be standard on all variants of car or just an appearance package. However, It is confirmed in the report that the Proton Saga will come with major updates like keyless entry, push start, and a CVT automatic gearbox that will replace the current 4-speed automatic in the top-end variant.

The remaining features of the Proton Saga 2022 will be same. The company has not yet issues any official update in this regard. There are rumors spreading for the launch of facelift of Proton Saga 2022 that it will be launched in the first quarter of 2022. 


Proton Saga in Pakistan 

The Malaysian auto giant launched the Proton Saga Sedan in Pakistan in early 2021. The sedan has three variants. All variants of the sedan Saga come with one engine option- a naturally-aspirated 1.3-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 94 hp and 120 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels via either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox.

The key feature of Saga sedan include dual front airbags, ISO Fix Child Seat Anchors, a seven-inch Smart Infotainment System, an anti-lock braking system, DRLs, stability control, traction control, and a reverse camera.

The company is also assembling the Proton Saga 2022 in Pakistan locally. The locally assembled model of the sedan comes with major improvements including a  a center console with an armrest, front and rear parking sensors, Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) guards, and a strut-tower brace for improved stability.

The company has not yet confirmed the Proton Saga 2022 Price in Pakistan but hopefully it will be an affordable sedan to compete with other sedans available in the Pakistani auto market.
