Rickshaw Manufacturer Saazgar Launches First Brand Car

Saazgar Engineering Works Limited is Pakistan based manufacturing company, which is based in Lahore. This auto company has manufactured the CNG powered rickshaws and it is currently producing total 7 different variants of rickshaw. There is one seven seater variant, the royal deluxe mini cab and the delivery truck. These rickshaws have proven very popular within Pakistan because of its consistently increasing demand for the public transportation and the company has started the exporting of these rickshaws to Japan.

Japan is the most advanced country and it has strong industrial base and has the strongest automotive sector of the country in the world. Most of the Japanese import these rickshaws for leisure purpose as it is colorful Pakistani rickshaw, which is well known all over the world and they also serve as fun and transportation for short journeys within Japan. This is the first three wheels vehicles to be allowed to run on the highways in Japan and it is testament to engineering of Saazgar.

Saazgar has also produced the home appliances like air conditioners, microwaves and make the wheel rims for tractor. Saazgar decided to venture deeper into automotive sector of Pakistan to produce their one line of locally manufactured light passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Saazgar engineering plans to produce the brand new car production plant in Greenfield investment category, which was declared in 5 years auto policy of Pakistan. The company has made the plan to increase the investment to PKR 330 million so that it can increase the size of its production plant from 5 to 27 acres of land so that it can increase the production of rickshaw from 20,000 units to 30,000 units each year to meet ever increasing demand and start the testing and production of new range of light commercial and passenger vehicles.
