Sazgar BAIC Plans To Bring Four Cars In Pakistan Soon

The BAIC has been most anticipated Chinese automaker and made its official entry in the industry in 2020. BAIC was unable to enter in the Pakistani auto market because of COVID-19 restrictions. For now the great news for all car enthusiasts is that BAIC is coming to Pakistani auto market soon in collaboration with Sazgar Engineering Works Limited SEWL. The BAIC is reportedly bringing four new cars in Pakistan under its brand.

The Chinese car maker is also establishing a vehicle production and assembling plant in Pakistan that is in final stage and will be completed in few days. The vehicle production at BAIC’s assembly plant in Pakistan will also be started soon.

BAIC, reportedly, will bring cars in Pakistan for sale within the next three months. The company is going to launch the same cars that were showcased in 2020 at PAPS auto show. These cars include D20 hatchback, Sedan X25, Crossover SUV and an off road SUV BJ40.

As the Electric Vehicles policies for 2, 3 and 4 wheelers have been officially announced by the government of Pakistan and production and import of EVs will be faster than before now, the Sazgar is also seeing to deal with BAIC in this regard to introduce and launch EVs in their collaborations as BAIC is already an EV manufacturer in China.
