Sazgar Launched Pakistan’s First Electric Vehicle

After the implementation of National Electric Vehicle Policy by the Government of Pakistan many auto companies are trying to manufactures and import the electric vehicles in Pakistan. Working according to the newly implemented policy, the Pakistan’s popular vehicle manufacturing company, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited took an initiative to manufacture its new electric vehicle in the local auto industry of the country. As a result the auto manufacturer successfully manufactured it three wheeler electric vehicle and launched it in a glitzy ceremony recently.

In the company’s electric vehicle launch ceremony Government officials, social and business community members were also invited. The company claimed that three wheeler will help in providing more employment opportunities, reduce the oil import expense, helpful in saving foreign exchange and reduce environmental pollution as well. Specifications and Features

The Sazgar’s Electric Vehicle three Wheeler is housed by a 48V, 160Ah, 7.7kwh battery paired with a 3kw motor that will give it a range of 170KM with the weight included .It will take almost 5 hours to charge and, according to some estimates, it will save Rs. 250,000 in terms of fuel and Rs. 30,000 in terms of maintenance each year.
