US car manufacturing company, Tesla Motors was emerged as radical new entrant in automotive industry. It has launched new brand of vehicles for customers and it has brought seminal changes in vehicle powertrains. The Fremont factory primary manufacturing plant for Tesla and it can produce the models of S, X, and 3. This factory was first opened as ‘ General Motors Fremont Assembly ’ back in 1962 and after that it was operated by New United Motor Manufacturing, which is the joint venture of GM and Toyota and Tesla has taken the ownership for the production of model S in 2010 .

Fremont will get Tesla to model Y production and they have combined the model S and model X production into one line. The models of S and X are made with lot of parts and model X is considered complicated to build because of signature faction wing doors. Tesla in making plan n full refresh of model S to include interior with minimalist look and feel of newer model 3. The battery can deliver
400 miles of EPA rated range on full charge, which is compared to current king of hill.

Tesla has to face the increased competition from other automakers like Mercedes Benz EQC, Audi e-Tron Quattro and Jaguar I-Pace. The production was slowed on S and X model and Tesla has laid off portion of its Model S and X production staff. Tesla manufactures the S and X during week in Fremont and there is no weekend o r the nighttime productions of the cars these days.
