It has been revealed that there has been shuffling around in Consumer Reports rankings for the Car Brands and there are various popular brands, which have been suffered because of the slight deterioration in the quality o r its features.
Methodology
The consumer reports say that consistency is the key and rank methodology considers all of the factors. The car maker ranking is based on the road tests of Consumer Reports, owner satisfaction ratings, predicted reliability, safety features and crash test results of government. There are different features like forward collision warning as the standard equipment, emergency braking, and use of easy to use automatic transmission shifter and the automatic shifting to the park. There is only one car met gear shifting standards of Consumer Reports, Ford Fusion 2017. When new cars were sought and tested then new cars were achieved from each brand for Overall Scores. The brands, which have conducted one test of the model, were omitted from it.
Rankings
The rankings were taken into account of all above mentioned factors and it was included with opinions and score each brand for most of the cars on the point based system.
The rankings saw the major shift from last year as the vehicle brand, Porsche takes the second spot, which is followed by BMW and Audi remained at the top second year in the row. The bottom of the table was featured with regular car manufacturers like Jeep, Fiat, Land Rover and Mitsubishi. Along with the score, you can take the complete ranking table and do not need to score the satisfaction and reliability in numbers. They can indicate it by the graphical indicators showing better to worse. For example, Audi is top ranked and it has above average parts reliability and owner satisfaction and the outstanding 86 point road test to help it in getting the overall score of 81.

The vehicle brands like BMW, Porsche and Mazda got the recommendation for all of the test cars and 86% cars from Honda , Audi and Hyundai were recommended for it. The vehicle like Tesla, electric car maker got the best rating and it is present at the 8th position. It got one of highest owner satisfaction ratings to show the impact of the car in the market.
Car Brands Available in Pakistan
There are different car brands, which are available in Pakistan o r they are making plan to launch their cars in the market in coming few years, the car brands including BMW and Audi take the top positions. The two companies are offering the luxurious vehicle, which are out of range of many people because they are very expensive.
There are different car makers for average consumer and Kia beats the rest of the vehicles with overall score of 74 and it is present as rank 6. Kia has made the plan to re-launch the vehicles in Pakistan while Honda got 72 points and it reached to the 9th position and Toyota is present at 11th position with 71 points. Hyundai is launched in the market in Pakistan and it has total 70 points and it is present at the 12th position. Mercedes Benz is present at 20th position and Volkswagen is present at 23rd position in the market.
