Toyota Introduces 3 New Vehicles At Tokyo Auto Salon 2020

At Tokyo Auto Salon 2022, the Japanese auto giant, Toyota has introduced three new vehicles including GRMN Yaris, the GT 3 concept, and bZ4X GR. These vehicles give a look of upcoming sporty vehicles of Toyota.

Toyota GR GT 3 Concept
The Toyota GR GT 3 Concept is built under the Toyota’s motorsport/racing division, Gazoo Racing. The division has modified the car’s name with GR for better performance. The car will be a remarkable entry in the future of Toyota Gazoo Racing with a striking design.

Currently, the Supra with GT54 specification is available under Toyota brand. But the new concept GT3 prototype indicates the arrival of a complete GT3 racing platform. Toyota has not revealed anything officially regarding its Inspiration for the GR GT3. According to Koji, the president of GR GT3, the prototype will be launched by the end of this year.

The body of the GR GT3 is designed with a tall hood, a towering back wing, a large rear diffuser, and numerous creases and vents. For the indication of its internal combustion, the GR, GT3 is offered with an exhaust pipe jutting out behind the front wheels.


GRMN Yaris

During the event, the Toyota also introduced the GRMN Yaris-a modified hatchback that falls in the category of rally car. The company will only launch 500 units for Japan. 

The company has removed the rear bench seats from the GRMN and has saved about 44 pounds (19.95 kg) of its weight. The seats are now replaced with a cross-brace for the improvement of rigidity of the car. For drivers, the car comes with rack-ready Recaro bucket seats.

The GRMN Yaris is also provided with a mechanical limited-slip differential and a redesigned close-ratio gearbox, besides a massive wing that hangs off the back edge of the roof.


bZ4X GR Sport Concept

Toyota also revealed the bZ4X GR Sport concept in the Auto Show. The car is said to be a best performance upcoming electric crossover. The concept reveals the car with wider wheels and blacked-out rims.

The technical details about the bZ4X has not yet revealed by Toyota, however, the car will be a distant dream to come true, the car may be put in to production.
