Toyota Tundra 3d Generation Launched

Toyota Global has officially launched the Toyota Tundra 3rd Generation. The all new Tundra is comparatively efficient, bigger and faster than the previous generation.

The Toyota Global launched the six variants of 3rd Generation Toyota Tundra.

The six variants of Toyota Tundra 3rd Generation are SR, SR5, LIMITED, PLATINUM, 1794 and Top of the line TRD-PRO. The auto giant has not yet disclosed the pricing of Toyota Tundra but we can speculate the price of new Toyota Tundra around o r more than 60K dollars for the loaded variant as the price of previous generation starts around 35000 dollars.

The all new Toyota Tundra is set to challenge Chevy Silverado, Dodge RAM, Nissan Titan, GMC Sierra and the world’s best selling Ford F- Series.

Tundra 3rd Generation New V6 Engine

The Toyota Tundra is housed with a 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 pumping 389HP & 649NM of Torque. The second engine is 3.5LV6 Twin Turbo Hybrid making 437HP & 790NM Torque. 10 speed automatic transmissions are standard on both engines. Hybrid is powered by an electric motor mated between the engine and transmission.

The Truck Toyota Tundra comes in Double-Cab and Crew-Max configurations. The long bed will be available depending on body style, 5.5, 6.5- o r 8.1-feet.The payload capacity of the Tundra is increased by 11% as compared to previous generation and now it gets capacity of 880KGs whereas, its Ton trailer is also increased by 17% which is 5.4



The Truck especially the GA-F platform is built on the New Global Architecture of Toyota. This architecture is specifically designed for Pickup Trucks and frame SUVs. The underpinning of the truck is similar to new LC300 Land Cruiser. The Tundra is installed with Hybrid Powertrain which is Turbo Hybrid V6 in Land Cruiser forever.



Additionally, The Tundra 3rd gen Truck is has elegant styling that makes it more conventional and strong than before. The large changing made in this generation is the connection ofC-Shaped radiator shell with a huge front grille to the ground. These are connected via blackout panel on the bumper.



Then comes the chiselled wheel arches making the side profile rather interesting. The new integrated rear bumper ditches the more traditional separate steel unit. The company wanted to give the new Tundra a pinch of modernity with blacked-out-A-and B-pillars, giving the greenhouse a canopy appearance and emphasize its big windows. Like before, the new Tundra offers a rear window that s down into the bulkhead.

The side profile of the truck is also more interesting and good looking due to chiselled wheel arches featured in a descent way. The truck has rear bumper gives traditional steel unit. With blacked out A and B piller, the 3rd generation Tundra gives a greenish appearance and company has focused on the big windows as well. The rear window can be opened while ping it down in to the bulkhead like previous generation.

Interior

The first thing to be praised is an impressive low dashboard which surprisingly offers several features of technology. The Truck has an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, while higher-end models will get a 14-inch touchscreen mounted high on the dashboard. The new vehicle finally ditches Toyota’s awful infotainment software replacing it with a new tech suite that is more responsive and efficient.



The new 3rd Generation Tundra is featured with an elegant dashboard provided with latest and innovative features of technology. The Tundra Truck is featured with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, while higher-end models will get a 14-inch touchscreen mounted high on the dashboard. All variants of the Toyota Tundra 3rd generation come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the vehicle also comes with Amazon Music and Apple Podcasts. The complete interior of Tundra 3rd gen provides a transparent appearance with a thick metal-toned trim supported by HVAC vents. The truck also has ample room in the front row with a deeper centre console providing space for handbag, laptop and other daily accessories. Then comes the side-by-side cupholders and an upright charging pad. Back seats situation is not that good as they have less rear headroom, mainly due to an optional sunroof, while legroom seems excellent all around.
