BMW 2 Series losing coolant but no visible leaks — what could be causing overheating?

My 220i keeps overheating, and the coolant level s after long drives, but I can’t see any leaks under the car. Mechanics in Karachi suggested it might be a water pump o r coolant hose issue, but they’re not sure. Are BMW 2 Series cars known for hidden coolant leaks, expansion tank cracks, o r water pump failures in Pakistan’s climate? How should I diagnose this properly?
