“Does ‘Easy Service’ in the Ad Mean Sitting at a Garage for Weeks to Get a Spare Part?”

“Does ‘Easy Service’ in the Ad Mean Sitting at a Garage for Weeks to Get a Spare Part?”

Several owners balk at high maintenance costs o r long wait times for spare parts — especially for body-parts, specialized components, o r even simple sensors. In smaller cities outside major outlets, is owning a Tiggo 8 Pro almost like having a “garage-based” car rather than a “drive-and-go” one?

Chery is still growing its after-sales network in Pakistan, so while routine service is usually fine, some owners do face:

Delays in non-routine parts such as body panels, sensors, and electronic modules

Higher-than-expected prices for original imported parts

Limited availability in smaller cities

If you live in a major city Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, service is generally smoother. In smaller cities, you may experience longer waiting times for specific components.

The brand is improving support, but it still isn’t as fast o r widespread as older, well-established brands like Toyota o r Suzuki.
