What are the major safety concerns for United Alpha buyers in Pakistan?

Several reviews note that the United Alpha lacks fundamental safety features: for instance, it does not come with airbags.

How risky is it for drivers and passengers, given local road conditions?

Has there been any pressure from consumers, regulators, o r safety advocates on United Motors to add safety features?

What is the crash-test o r safety-rating history if any of the Alpha in Pakistan?

One of the top-reported safety concerns is that the United Alpha does not come with airbags. Business Recorder explicitly notes the lack of “basic safety equipment such as driver / passenger airbags.”

According to an owner review on PakWheels, the car also lacks ABS.

Without airbags and ABS, the risk in accidents is significantly higher, especially in urban environments with potential for collisions o r sudden braking.

Build quality is another concern: some users say the plastic interior quality is low and there is a lot of cabin noise.

From the broader perspective: United Alpha is based on the first-gen Chery QQ – and that model or its variants has historically had very poor safety ratings in some markets. For example, earlier versions of the QQ without airbags received 0-star ratings in crash tests in some regions.

Regulatory / consumer pressure: There’s no strong public record that United Motors has agreed to retrofit o r improve safety like adding airbags. The absence likely remains a trade-off to keep costs low in the budget hatchback segment.
