Toyota Rush Car Reviews
Off-Road Capable, City Smooth
Jan 24 2025The exterior of this mid-range SUV is quite attractive and definitely gives off that authentic SUV look. I can’t speak to the 2WD model, as I own the 4WD version, but its off-road performance is exceptional. Ive tested it on some tough terrains, and it has never let me down—actually, it has exceeded my expectations multiple times. While it lacks a low-ratio gear found in many SUVs, it can still handle challenging road conditions with ease.
In terms of fuel consumption, it’s on the higher side compared to a regular car, with a combined average of 8.5 to 11 km/L. However, this is still far better than any other 4WD SUVs in its class.
Drawbacks:
Parts Availability: Finding parts can be a challenge, though they are available with some effort.
The 1500 cc engine with an automatic transmission feels a bit underpowered for this vehicle it would be better suited with at least a 1800 cc engine.

Toyota Rush S: Compact Power
Jan 24 2025Pros:
With an impressive ground clearance of 220 mm and a submersion height of 60 mm, this car handles heavy rains and rough roads with ease.
Stylish design, resembling a smaller Fortuner.
Offers good tech features, including a top-notch Kenwood audio system with CarPlay and Android Auto support, automatic headlights, multiple power ports, and convenient steering controls for the audio system.
Comfortable 7-seater capacity.
Cons:
The absence of a 4th gear makes highway driving uncomfortable, with engine noise becoming annoying once speeds exceed 100 km/h.
The price in Pakistan is excessively high. Regionally, the Toyota Rush competes with the Mitsubishi Expander and Honda BR-V, all within a similar price range, but in Pakistan, the Rush is priced much higher. In my opinion, this is the primary reason for its lack of success in the market. If priced closer to the BR-V, it could have easily been more popular.

Perfect Value In A Compact SUV
Jan 24 2025AoA,
The Toyota Rush is an excellent all-rounder compact SUV. It boasts impressive ground clearance and features a permanent 4x4 drive, unlike typical AWD systems. A unique feature is its central differential lock, which is not found in any crossovers with AWD options. Being a Toyota, its highly reliable, and finding replacement parts is easy.
