The 4th gen Mitsubishi Outlander was introduced for the 2022 model year and is a midsize SUV that offers a spacious interior, a strong V6 engine, and advanced safety features. The Outlander also comes in a plug-in hybrid version, making it a great option for those who want a more environmentally-friendly vehicle. The interior of the Outlander is spacious and comfortable, with seating for up to seven passengers. The second-row seats can slide and recline for added comfort, but the third row is a bit cramped for adults. The Outlander's fuel economy is decent for its class, with the four-cylinder engine earning an EPA-estimated 27 mpg combined (24 city/31 highway) with front-wheel drive and 26 mpg combined (24 city/30 highway) with all-wheel drive. The plug-in hybrid version has an estimated electric range of 24 miles and earns an EPA-estimated 74 mpg-e.
