BAIC New Variant of BJ40 Revealed

BAIC has revealed their new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon-inspired variant BJ40 in the Chinese market. This vehicle is dubbed BJ40 Kekexili Edition and this SUV is added with off-road accessories on the standard variants. The customers will know that BAIC New Variant of BJ40 Revealed. 

Kekexili is a region in China, which is located in North Eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and this region is the largest and most challenging plateau in the world. 


BJ40 is the blocky styling, which is according to Jeep Wrangler and Mercedes Benz G-Class and it is added with off-road accessories including heavy duty metal bumper, front bash-bar, new vented bumper, scuff-plate, roof-rack, auxiliary lights, knobbly 17 inch off-road tires and anti-drop wheels, which gives more aggressive look. 

This vehicle has the remaining hardware similar to the standard variants. This vehicle has the 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine, which can produce 221 hp and 380 Nm of torque. It is sent to the rear wheels or all four wheels through the 6-speed automatic gearbox. 

This vehicle has low-range mode and lockable differential to allow the hardcore off-roading. This vehicle has the distinctive look and BJ40 has proper adventure-vehicle features including detachable doors, foldable windshield and removable roof. 


This vehicle has different and latest features, which are:

• All-wheel disc brakes with ABS technology
• An electronic parking brake
• Automatic climate control (for higher specs variants)
• Rear A/C vents
• Parking sensors
• Traction control
• Stability control
• Hill-start assist
• Hill-descent control
• A modern infotainment unit
• Dual airbags
• A multi-function steering wheel among several other options

The extra kit of the vehicle is available at the economical price range, which is equal to Rs.8.6 million and it is still less than its worth in Pakistan, which is about Rs.9.3 million. This vehicle has the added accessories and BJ40 Kekexili Edition is the most attractive offer for the Chinese car buyers.
