Discontinuation of Suzuki Bolan AC Variant

Suzuki Bolan AC variant was introduced in auto market about a year ago and now there are news that this model is discontinued. According to Suzuki dealerships, the company made the decision to stop manufacturing of this vehicle. We have already shared the news that “AC wala dabba” made the comeback after about 15 years. 

Not First Time

Suzuki launched their first Suzuki Bolan with AC in 2006-07 but it was failed because of overheating and low engine power. The performance of AC in this vehicle during the season of summer was not satisfactory. The vehicle has the engine under driving seat and it created the serious inconvenience for the driver. 
When this variant was introduced in the market after 15 years of gap last year, we viewed that this model has the AC and when it is switched on, that the body of the vehicles starts vibrating. Despite of good throwing, there were still complaints against this variant and the company had to discontinue this model. 

Possible Reasons for Failure

There are different reasons for the failure of this vehicle and the first reason could be over-heating, and there may be some other reasons, which will be body vibration and loss of engine power. The company had many AC units, which were installed last year and now they have decided that the AC variant is not up to required standard. 

The third reason for the failure of this variant is its low sale as the company witnessed that they sold only 580 units in June and July 2022.
