Gandhara Nissan & Cherry To Launch 3 EVs In Pakistan

The Gandhara Nissan Limited GNL is reportedly collaborating with Chinese Automaker, Cherry to launch three electric vehicles in Pakistan. According to media reports, the GNL is planning to establish a new plant to manufacture and introduce EVs in Pakistan locally within next three years.

This statement is given by company secretary, Fareena Mazhar during a meeting with Board of Investment BOI officials.

The company officials further claimed that company is planning to launch various passenger vehicles, including saloon cars, family hatchbacks, crossover SUVs, and all-electric cars.

The GNL also plans to introduce the Chery Tiggo 8 in Pakistan soon. Chery Tiggo 8 is a midsize crossover SUV that competes with the likes of KIA Sorrento and Toyota Fortuner.
