Honda City Best-Selling Sedan in Pakistan in June 2022

Car sales reached to the peek during the previous month of June 2022 and record number of cars was sold despite the increasing inflation in the country.

According to the reports on sales of cars, the leading dealers including Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC), and Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL) sold the cars in large number than previous months and Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) and Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) also increased the number of sales of cars in the previous month.

This is the best sales of Hyundai Nishat Motor Private Limited (HNMPL) since its inception in Pakistani market but it is still less to enlist in top five best selling cars. When we talk about the five best-selling cars for June 2022, we can find some of the cars.

Note: the brands not member of PAMA, are Kia, Changan, Proton, Haval, MG, Prince-DFSK. United did not share their official sales figures.

#5: Suzuki Wagon R

Suzuki WagonR was included in the best selling cars and now it has fallen by two spots. Despite of this decrease, this car is still included in top five list. PSMC sold 2,134 units of WagonR last month and it is included in 5th position among the best selling vehicles in Pakistan and it has made it consistent top performer.

The mini-MPV is the best car, which is considered best for ride-hailing service drivers, corporations, and young families as it is durable, and the spare parts are also available easily and it is considered cheap and it has maintained ideal fuel economy.

#4: Suzuki Cultus

This car has maintained its turbulent trajectory and it is included in the top five selling list during June 2022 and this car beats consistent performers including Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Swift and WagonR. The company has sold 2,468 units Cultus car during last month and you can find the month over month (MoM) increase of 94 percent in sales.

#3: Toyota Corolla

Toyota Corolla was included at the second position in top five sellers list and it has shown impressive performance. Toyota IMC sold total 2,626 units of Corolla in June 2022 and made this car, 3rd best-selling car of the month. In terms of price, this car competes with the top-trim level Honda City and it is against the category of sedans, which is Hyundai Elantra and Honda Civic.

#2: Honda City

Honda City has broken the win of the Toyota Corolla and this car has become the best-selling car of June 2022. Honda Atlas Cars Limited sold the total 2,764 units of City during previous month and this car has beaten the sales record of Toyota Yaris, Corolla, Changan Alsvin, Suzuki Swift and various other A-segment cars.

The sales of Honda City will get better from here as this has small engine, which is subject to the low tax and you can compare the cars with the engines, which are larger than 1300 cc.

#1: Suzuki Alto

Suzuki Alto dominates the market and this car has become the best-selling car in Pakistan. PSMC sold total 7,487 units of Alto and it remained the best-selling car in Pakistan for the continuous 6th month this year. the sales of this car is high as the ride-hailing services, students, young professional and families with reasonable budget range like to buy this car. This car is available at the smaller price and it has ultra-frugal fuel economy, which are the important selling points of this car.
