Honda Mini-SUV Launch at Suzuki Swift’s Price

Honda is making plan to diversify the SUV lineup with the release of A-segment crossover SUV. The reports show that this mini-SUV will be given the name of WR-V and it will be the competitor of Kia Sonet, Daihatsu Rocky, Toyota Raize and other SUVs. SUV shares its platform with the Honda Jazz, which is the small hatch and the competitor is Suzuki Swift. The company revealed the concept of this car last year in Indonesia. This concept showed different modern design cues and the leaked photos of the production version show much simpler vehicle. 


Honda has the features on the front, which are typical sharp headlights, sporty front bumper and mesh pattern front grille with spotted chrome effect. The side features of normal look away from character line is an edgy alloy wheel design and backed-out roof rails.


The familiar taillight and tailgate design gives the rear end look same to various other SUVs of Honda. The reports suggest that WR-V will have the features of naturally aspirated 1.2 liter engine from the city or 1.5 liter power plant from BR-V in base variant. The RS variant will be added with turbo engine to give added sportiness. 

The price of this vehicle is not final and the market shows that Honda WR-V will get the initial price about RS.72,600 (Rs.3.4 million approx.). Honda could be very serious competitor to various other mini-SUVs in the market in terms of its price.
