During the halt in production from March 9 to May 15, Honda's sales were severely impacted. In fact, the company recorded its lowest sales performance to date, with only 207 cars sold last month. Surprisingly, the sales of the Honda Civic, the flagship sedan of the company, reached an unprecedented zero units.
This downturn in performance marks a significant setback for Honda, reminiscent of the challenges faced during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. It is hoped that the upcoming restart of production will aid Honda in regaining its market share and restore its position as one of Pakistan's leading car manufacturers.
