Hyundai Raises Prices on Popular Models in Pakistan

In a move that has caught many by surprise, Hyundai Nishat has announced an increase in the prices of its vehicles. The company attributed this decision to the recent rise in global freight costs, which has significantly impacted their production expenses. After holding steady prices for an extended period, Hyundai Nishat felt compelled to adjust its pricing structure to reflect these new realities.

Updated Prices for Hyundai Vehicles

Several popular Hyundai models, including the Elantra, Tucson, Sonata, and Porter, have seen price increases. The revised prices will take effect from October 1, 2024.

Elantra Price Adjustment

Elantra 2.0 : The price of the Elantra 2.0 has gone up by Rs. 250,000, bringing the new cost to Rs. 7,180,000 from the previous Rs. 6,930,000.

Tucson Price Update

Tucson GLS (FWD) : This model's price has increased by Rs. 150,000, moving from Rs. 7,165,000 to Rs. 7,315,000.

Tucson GLS Sport (FWD) : The new price is Rs. 8,280,000, after a hike of Rs. 250,000 from its previous price of Rs. 8,030,000.

Tucson Ultimate (AWD) : The price has been raised by Rs. 250,000, with the new cost now at Rs. 8,909,000, up from Rs. 8,659,000.

Sonata Price Revision

Sonata 2.0 : The cost of the Sonata 2.0 has increased by Rs. 250,000, making the new price Rs. 10,229,000, compared to the old price of Rs. 9,979,000.

Sonata 2.5 : This model has experienced a Rs. 275,000 increase, pushing its price from Rs. 10,930,000 to Rs. 11,205,000.

Porter Price Increases

Porter High Deck (with AC): The price has gone up by Rs. 200,000, bringing it to Rs. 4,389,000 from Rs. 4,189,000.

Porter Flat Deck (with AC): After a Rs. 200,000 increase, this model's new price is Rs. 4,369,000, up from Rs. 4,169,000.

Porter Deckless (with AC): The cost has risen by Rs. 200,000, making the new price Rs. 4,349,000, up from Rs. 4,149,000.

Porter High Deck (without AC) : This model’s price has increased by Rs. 200,000, from Rs. 4,079,000 to Rs. 4,279,000.

Porter Flat Deck (without AC) : The new price is Rs. 4,259,000, after a Rs. 200,000 increase from the previous Rs. 4,059,000.

Porter Deckless (without AC): The price has jumped by Rs. 200,000, raising the cost from Rs. 4,039,000 to Rs. 4,239,000.

Important Terms and Conditions

The new prices will apply to all orders placed on or after October 1, 2024. Orders created before September 30, 2024, with full payment made by that date, will be processed at the old rates. These prices are ex-factory Faisalabad and include all applicable taxes and dealer commissions. Any additional costs due to changes in government policies, taxes, or tariffs will be borne by the customer. The prices listed are provisional and may change without prior notice, with the final amount determined at the time of invoicing. Transportation and transit insurance charges will be added at the prevailing rates. Additionally, customers who are not active or registered for Sales Tax will incur an extra 4% Sales Tax charge.
