Sazgar Engineering Hits All-Time High in Vehicle Sales

Sazgar Engineering (SAZEW) has reported an outstanding surge in its sales figures for four-wheel off-road and passenger vehicles. According to the company’s latest update on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) dated Thursday, September 5, 2024, a total of 953 units were sold in August 2024. This represents an impressive 219.8% increase compared to the 298 units sold during the same period in 2023.

Notable Production & Sales Growth

In August 2024, Sazgar manufactured 941 vehicles, marking a significant rise from the 309 units produced in August 2023. This translates to a substantial year-on-year (YOY) growth rate of 204.53%.

Strong MoM Sales & Production Gains

The month-on-month (MOM) analysis reveals a 16% increase in sales, with August 2024 recording 953 units sold compared to 825 units in July 2024. Production also experienced a month-on-month rise of 6.21%, reaching 941 units in August, up from 886 units the previous month.

Big Jump in Three-Wheeler Sales

In addition to the impressive figures for off-road and passenger vehicles, Sazgar's three-wheeler auto-rickshaw segment saw substantial growth. The company reported a 50.87% increase in year-on-year (YOY) sales, with 1,643 three-wheelers produced in August 2024, compared to 1,089 units in July 2024. Production of Sazgar three-wheelers Rickshaw 2024 also rose significantly, with a YOY increase of 51.99%, totaling 2,023 units in August, up from 1,331 units last year. Month-on-month, three-wheeler sales saw a 1.17% increase, while production grew by 12.7%.
