Tata Nano and Suzuki Mehran

Tata is a company that was founded in 1868 and it got achievement in the auto competitive market. Tata group is the world class company with the 100 independent operating companies and has the employees over 600,000. Tata Motor is USD 42 billion company that is popular global automobile manufacturer company and it manufactures cars , trucks, buses and defense vehicles. The company manufactured Tata Nano in 2008 and it was initially launched with price tag of $1500 and it is increased with time. This car was designed for middle class away from two wheel vehicles. The company reduced amount of steel in its chassis and rely on the low cost Indian labor. The car offers features like Easy Shift and an electric power assisted steering AmphiStream Music system with the features of Bluetooth connectivity.

Gan X Nano comes with rejuvenated design and it offers stylish interior, smoke headlamps with black bezel and large circular fog lamps and integrated tailgate spoiler. It is automatic car with wonderful fuel efficiency of manual and it offers Sports mode and mileage of 21.9 km/l and small training radius of 4m for convenient maneuverability. The interior of the car provides spacious cabin with electric power assisted steering with the sensitivity of speed, active return feature, front power windows and keyless remote central locking. This car is provided in Pakistani market for 680,000 Pakistani rupees.

Suzuki Mehran is generally retired car. This car was sold in Japanese and European market from 1984 to 1988 under title Suzuki Alto. This is the rebadged version of Suzuki Alto and it does not have significant changes from production in 1989. It claims Mehran has new passion and energy on every refresh.


It may be people do not agree with design philosophy and it might not have exterior and interior appealing. The Tata Nano is the most awaited compact hatch and we need similar design in Pakistan.
