Toyota has launched its tremendous Toyota Corolla in the market and this car has gained so much popularity among users for the first time in the last 24 years. Honda Civic is at the top in the Canadian auto market as this car has highest sales for 24 consecutive years. Now Toyota Corolla jumped ahead of Honda Civic and pushed this car back and now it took the first spot. Car enthusiasts will like to get the updates that Toyota Corolla Leaves Honda Civic Behind First Time.  

Toyota managed the sale of 33,096 Corolla and Honda could sell only 29,772 units this year. These figures are quite big but the sale of Toyota was affected by 17% in 2022 and resultantly it affected the sales of Toyota cars. If there was no drawback, then the sale of this car could be more impressive but it continued its business and managed its sale globally and it did not hinder it to claim the spot for a best-selling car in Canada for the year 2022. 
Toyota has introduced a huge range of variants for the Corolla model and they managed the success of the brand. There are various trims and this brand could manage to surpass Honda in sales. 
The sale of Honda was considered to drop because of the lack of semiconductors and restrictions of COVID-19.
