Toyota Prado 2023 Will Be Launched In August 2022

The Japanase auto giant, Toyota is preparing for a big launch of the year 2022. According to news and rumors, the company is bringing the new updated version of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2023. According to reports from the Japanese sources, the new vehicle will be an upgraded version of the current Prado 2022 with addition of new and innovative features and will not be a new generation.

Previously, it was speculated that the new Toyota Prado 2022 will be launched as a new vehicle but sources confirmed it now that the car will be only an upgraded model of the Prado. In coming weeks, the company is said to close the bookings of the currently available model of the Prado.

The new Prado 2023 will be upgraded as mentioned earlier and some sources revealed that the car will have new grille with a fascia garnish with some minor color and material changes in the interior.

Remember that, the Japanese Car maker Toyota has been producing the Toyota 150 Series since 13 years from 2009. The company launched the major facelift of the SUV later in 2017. The new Prado 2023 is delayed due to production and pushed back from 2022 to 2024. 

According to previous reports, the latest Land Cruiser 300 series is also delayed due to global pandemic COVID-19 due to shortage of semiconductor chips and increasing number of demand the new Toyota Prado also faced a break in production.

In previous reports, it is revealed that the Toyota is manufacturing the new engine for the upcoming vehicles for the Hiac, Prado and Hilux lineups which will be a 2.5-liter turbo-diesel, four-cylinder engine mated with hybrid-electric system.

The company is also planning to launch the next generation Prado GR Sport variant which is similar to 300 series. It will be a best alternative to the off-road vehicles. The company has not officially announced anything for the upcoming Land Cruiser Prado. For more details in this regard we have to wait for few weeks or months.
