Will Suzuki Every Finally Debut This Month?

Suzuki Every has been one of the most eagerly awaited vehicles in the Pakistani automotive market. Over the past few years, various reports and rumors have circulated regarding its potential introduction. The first mention of the Suzuki Every's arrival and the possible discontinuation of the Suzuki Bolan came in August 2021. This announcement was triggered by a Lahore High Court (LHC) directive to the Engineering Development Board (EDB) to ensure that all automobile manufacturers in the country assemble vehicles equipped with airbags, in compliance with the safety regulations of WP-29. The EDB initially set a 2021 deadline for the implementation of these safety regulations, which was later extended to 2023.

Speculation Surrounding the Replacement of Suzuki Bolan
In light of these developments, market speculations grew stronger that the Suzuki Bolan might be phased out due to its lack of airbags, with the Suzuki Every poised to take its place. However, the deadline for compliance was further extended, this time to mid-2024. We previously reported that Suzuki Pakistan was gearing up to launch the Every to meet the requirements of WP-29. But now, there is a possibility that the Every might make its debut before mid-2024, and the source of this information can be traced back to PAPS 2023.

Clues from PAPS 2023
During the recent Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2023), Gari.pk expert explored various company stalls and outlets related to the automotive sector. Among his visits, he stopped by the booth of Karachi Tools, Dies and Moulds Centre, a manufacturer of key automotive components for various car manufacturers in Pakistan.

During their conversation, the company's representative discussed their advanced technology for producing car parts such as dashboards and door panels. In an unexpected revelation, he mentioned, "Our next project is Suzuki Every, which is coming next month (November 2023)." However, he promptly added that the project is still under development.

Insights on the Engine
About the engine specifications for the upcoming Every, and the official disclosed that the vehicle would be equipped with a 660cc engine. This information provides the latest update on Suzuki's new vehicle, and there is hope that the company will indeed launch it this month, potentially marking the end of the decades-old Suzuki Bolan.
