. Can oil leakage into the ignition coils cause misfiring in the Oshan X7?

My Oshan X7 has been jerking occasionally and showing signs of misfiring. When I inspected the ignition coil area, I noticed oil traces. Could this be due to oil seeping into the coil pack area, and is this a common problem in this model under Pakistani driving conditions?

Yes. Oil around o r inside the ignition coil area can compromise electrical conductivity, leading to engine misfires, rough idling, o r poor acceleration. If oil leaks onto the coil boot o r electrical connector, the coil may stop firing correctly.

Signs of ignition coil failure due to oil:

Intermittent engine jerking

Flashing Check Engine Light

Engine vibration at idle o r while accelerating

Solution:

Replace any oil-contaminated ignition coils

Clean o r replace affected spark plugs

Fix the source of the leak typically valve cover gaskets o r tube seals
