Hyundai Sonata Car Reviews
Worst Company
Jan 13 2025I’ve had a terrible experience with Hyundai. The company’s service is awful, especially when dealing with issues like tyre problems. When I approached them, they just ignored me and said they couldn’t do anything, which is incredibly frustrating.
The car quality is also disappointing, with locally manufactured parts being of very poor quality, while the imported parts are the only good aspect. Overall, my experience with Hyundai has been very disheartening, and I wouldnt recommend it.

Best Car In Pakistan
Jan 10 2025The Sonata is one of the best cars in the sedan category. Overall, its performance is fabulous, and while the fuel average isn’t great, the driving experience is truly impressive. There is some noise from the tires, though. The car’s look is absolutely stunning. I have a lot of love for the Sonata!

Higher Fuel Average
Jan 07 2025I’ve owned this car for about 4 months now and have driven around 3000 km. Overall, the Sonata is a fantastic car, offering most of the luxury features found in German cars at a much more affordable price.
The fuel economy is quite good, ranging from 10.5 to 12 km/l in the city. While its not the best, it’s definitely solid. The performance is generally good, although I sometimes feel it’s a bit underpowered when overtaking at speeds above 120 km/h.
On the highway, the car has impressed me with an outstanding fuel average of 15 km/l when cruising between 2500 and 3400 RPM, and even more impressive, 16.5 km/l with the cruise control set to 120 km/h. This fuel efficiency is actually higher than my 11th-gen Civic RS 1.5.
Overall, it’s a great car, offering good performance and excellent fuel economy.

Hyundai Sonata
Jan 04 2025I bought the Sonata 2.5L a year ago and have driven it 10,000 km. Overall, the car excels in comfort, styling, and value, but the suspension is quite stiff, even with higher-profile tires. This doesnt quite suit the D-segment sedan, as the ride is smooth on straight roads, and the ground clearance is good, but the suspension is overly sensitive to uneven roads and potholes, which significantly affects the driving experience.
I’m getting a fuel average of 10-11 km/l in the city and 13-15 km/l on highways with a light foot. One concern is the throttle body the company recommends servicing it after 10,000 km to avoid potential issues, like limping. I had an engine check light come on at 5,000 km due to a faulty O2 sensor, and the company suggested it could be caused by bad fuel quality.
The torque and acceleration aren’t very impressive, and after owning both the 2.0L and 2.5L variants, I didn’t notice a huge difference except in fuel economy. The 2.5L does feel underpowered if you’re used to driving a higher-performance car. Additionally, the maintenance costs are high, along with the price of spare parts.

Most Luxurious Sedan Under 10 Million
Nov 16 2024From the aggressive DRLs slicing into the car’s bonnet to the rear rectangular LED lamp, this car strikes a perfect balance between executive sophistication and an aggressive, bold exterior.
Inside, the build quality is exceptional. The premium Nappa leather on the dashboard and door panels gives the cabin a luxurious, posh feel, making it stand out in its class.
I’m driving the 2.5L variant, and it certainly doesn’t lack power. Adrenaline junkies won’t be disappointed — I clocked 0 to 100 km/h in about 8 seconds. The Pirelli P Zero tires paired with 18-inch alloys provide excellent grip, although they do generate a bit of road noise, but it’s not overly intrusive. The suspension is soft and comfortable, ensuring a smooth ride.
The build quality is top-notch, with good soundproofing to keep the cabin quiet and relaxed.
Overall, this is the best D-segment sedan in its price range, offering a perfect mix of performance, luxury, and style.
