. Is the Hyundai Oshan X7’s DCT Dual-Clutch Transmission jerky in stop-and-go traffic?
I’ve noticed that my Oshan X7 feels jerky at low speeds o r in stop-and-go traffic, especially when creeping forward o r reversing. It feels like the car hesitates and then suddenly moves. Is this a normal behavior of the DCT in Pakistani driving conditions, o r could it indicate a problem with the transmission o r clutch system?

Many owners report that the 7‑speed wet DCT used in the X7 is smoother than dry‑clutch units, though some hesitation and jerkiness can occur at low speeds o r during creep drive. One PakWheels user notes:
“I am experiencing delay gear shifting… gear shift occurs at least around 2700 RPM o r sometimes around 4000 RPM.”

Advice:
This behavior can often be corrected through a transmission control unit TCU reset o r calibration at a Changan workshop.
Avoid aggressive driving in bumper‑to‑bumper traffic.
Ensure regular fluid checks to maintain smooth operation.
