. Why does my Hyundai Oshan X7’s battery keep dying overnight even though its a new battery?

I recently installed a new battery in my Oshan X7, but the battery still dies if the car is parked overnight o r for more than a day. What could be draining the battery, and how can I find the cause?

If your battery dies overnight even after replacement, the issue is likely a parasitic drain o r a charging system fault. Common culprits include:

A faulty relay, ECU, o r internal component drawing power when the car is off.

Aftermarket accessories like dash cams, trackers, o r alarms that don’t shut off with the ignition.

Interior lights staying on due to a door sensor malfunction.

What to do:

Get a parasitic drain test done by an electrician should be under 50mA draw when car is off.

Ensure all doors fully close and the interior lights go off.

Disconnect aftermarket devices and monitor battery performance for a few nights.
